Angelique & Iris: Donating to Charity Instead of Having Wedding Favors

We wanted our love to extend beyond our special day and more into our communities. In lieu of wedding favors, we made a donation to one of our favorite nonprofits in the city, Girls in the Game.

The importance of hand picking vendors who were either small, female business owners of color and/or those who used their influence and dollars to give back to communities were an absolute requirement to be involved in our planning/vendor team. We really wanted to bring the notion of “party with a purpose” to fruition.
